Why choose Ellipse 43?
Ellipse 43 is our most discreet hembar to date. The fabric pocket means that at a glance there is no visible separation between the fabric and the hembar.
Ellipse 43 gets its name from its unique ellipse shape, which is ideal for blinds being fitted within a blind box. The bar within is 43mm high, and a slim 11mm deep, so it’s easy to tuck away.
Ellipse 43 features sleek, light grey end caps that sit flush against your fabric. This means that from front on there are no visible end caps to spoil the appearance of your blind.
The weight of Ellipse 43 ensures that your blind fabric hangs flat and your bottom bar sits straight, regardless of the width.
This hembar weighs 460 g/m, that’s 110% heavier than ‘PK’, and 92% heavier than our Type 1 round aluminium bottom bar.
For narrow blinds, extra weight can be added to the hembar to ensure smooth operation even on smaller blinds. This can increase the overall weight to a substantial 1.43kg/m to help the smooth running of motorised blinds.
