Introducing Kuro™ 80 – Our Smallest Kuro™ System To Date

After the success of our KuroLok™ 80 zipped-edge blackout system, with its neat and discreet 80mm headbox, we’re pleased to announce this small cassette is now available on our Kuro™ system too!

When you need superior light exclusion, a roller blind with blackout fabric alone is not enough. You need a fully cassetted blind, with headbox and side channels, to prevent light penetration around the perimeter of the blind. You need Kuro.

Kuro is a blackout blind system featuring extruded aluminium headbox and side channels that completely enclose the roller blind within. Kuro’s 56mm wide side channels feature brush seals for excellent light exclusion.

Kuro blinds are simple and fast to install and are robustly built to meet the demands of high usage.

Clean lines and a high-quality finish, with all fixings concealed, give a fully-fitted look to any roller blind – not only blackout. Universal profiles allow the frame to be fixed through the face, sides or top as required, and all fixings are completely concealed.

Using the same controls as our Helios system, Kuro can be motorised or operated manually via chain or crank handle. With a wide choice of control options, operating a Kuro blind is always a pleasure.

Kuro™ 80 is the only cassette system that we now offer with non-zip retention side channels. This new addition means that nearly every Umbra blind with a cassette now has a uniform appearance, with the same headbox design used across all of our most popular systems.
