Design Challenge
The building was designed to maximise natural light and incorporates large areas of glass with open spaces to create a sunny, spacious working environment. But workers in the office space sometimes found the sunlight disruptive and needed a solution to cut the glare that shone on their computer screens. The solution also had to be aesthetically pleasing to suit the modern design of the building, as well as being large enough to span wide areas of glass.
Solution
To suit the wide sizes, we supplied our large Helios roller blinds with spring assisted chain mechanisms for smooth, simple operation. Screen fabric was chosen to reduce the glare without blocking out the iconic views across the London skyline.
