Design Challenge
The project required a neat and discreet shading solution that was also able to integrate with the proposed building management system, controlling the HVAC and lighting.
Solution
The building façade was going to be anthracite grey so the Sirios cassette blinds supplied were all powder coated to the matching RAL colour to ensure they blended into their surroundings. The fabric supplied was a screen material, which gave good visibility to the outside, whilst reducing the glare entering the office. Somfy RS485 motors were used to connect to the building management system. A fully automated sun tracking system was also supplied so that the blinds needed no human input to provide the different levels of shading required during each day.
