Design Challenge
Aston Martin Lagonda is the world’s only independent luxury car group with more than 100 years of design and automotive excellence across two brands. It was important that all aspects of the state-of-the-art manufacturing facility were in keeping with the reputation of the Aston Martin Brand. This applied to the products and the workmanship involved in the new fit-out.
Solution
Umbra worked with Swanmac Blinds to supply and install the Helios crank operated roller blind system. The Helios gear system is engineered to a high standard using only British and German components to achieve easy, smooth control via the aluminium crank shaft. With a gear ratio of 3:1, even large shades can be opened and closed with little effort.
