Design Challenge
The roller blind hardware for this project had to match the interior colour scheme of the accommodation buildings so that the blinds were aesthetically pleasing. Both dimout and blackout fabrics were required and these had to match each other and link with the colour scheme. Being student accommodation, product guarantee and durability was also important.
Solution
We supplied Sirios and Helios roller blinds with cassettes painted to a special RAL colour chosen by the client. The blinds had guidewires to prevent them flapping in the wind if a window was left open. For rooms where all light needed to blocked out we supplied Kuro blackout blinds with cassettes and side channels powder coated to the same special RAL colour. The blinds were crank operated for strength and durability.
