Design Challenge
The pocket size for the blinds to be recessed into had been designed and created prior to any blinds being ordered. The challenge was coming up with a roller blind that would not only fit into this pocket, but that could also be motorised. Many of the windows were quite large which would normally mean larger tubes and brackets than would ever fit into the available space.
Solution
Careful calculations, knowledge and experience designed and created a solution that would fulfil all the requirements. The compact and reliable Sirios system was combined with 44mm and 52mm tubes where appropriate and narrow blinds were linked to wider blinds so they would operate simultaneously. The blinds were driven by fast, quiet motors which were connected the central building management system.
