Design Challenge
The client didn’t want to drill into the window mullions to fix these blinds as they didn’t want to cause any lasting damage. They also wanted to match the blind hardware colour to the unique colour of the window mullions, which was a very dark grey.
Solution
We supplied the KuroLok 100 system for this project which has strong, sturdy steel legs that connect the headbox to the side channels, which gives the installer the ability to fit this blind like a ‘goalpost’ i.e. by assembling the system on the floor and lifting it into the recess as a complete blind. The installer then used a strong adhesive tape to fix the side channels to the mullions so no drilling was required. The client chose black hardware for no added cost to match the window mullion colour as closely as possible.
