Thermal Blind Systems
Blackout Blinds – KuroLok
Up there with the best when it comes to heat control, largely thanks to the fact that you don’t have the same open space at the sides that roller blinds come with.
They don’t just have to be used with full blackout fabric too, all sorts of fabrics work including dimout: alu backed, screen, and many more.
Rooflight Blinds – KuroLok RL
KuroLok but sideways.
Specifically designed to shade the worst culprits for heat gain and loss. KuroLok RL can shade any horizontal glazing, bringing all of the benefits of thermal blinds to your ceilings.
Stretching up to 3 meters wide and 6 meters long, these rooflights are brilliant at covering even the largest spans of horizontal glazing.
Roller Blinds – Evolve
Evolve is our custom-designed roller blind range.
A tried and tested classic when it comes to shading, with the right fabrics and home automation they can pay serious dividends and put in a serious shift when it comes to thermal control.
They also have the added benefit of looking stunning, which always helps.
FABRICS
Spectrum 4060
An elegant yet functional fabric. This is one of our most popular silver backed screen fabrics, brilliant for heat control, with a solid range of colours.
Spectrum 4060 outperforms most standard screen fabrics thanks to its reflective backing.
Crescent
An attractive blackout fabric, Crescent has some great heat control stats.
Also doubly useful if you’re after a blackout fabric to use with our KuroLok blackout system.
Spectrum 5010
If you’re not looking to go all out on thermal properties, and instead want a solid all round fabric, Spectrum 5010 might just be the way to go.
With 1, 3, 5 and 10% screen options you can mix different openness levels to boost the thermal stats on sun facing sides, and allow more light into your building on the darker areas.
