Wire free is Hassle Free! Introducing Battery Operated Rooflight Blinds

With the ever increasing demand for electric roller blinds, battery operated blinds have become more and more popular. Easy to setup and no wiring needed, battery motors are the simplest solution for motorised blinds.

Until now there has not been a solution for battery operated rooflights as there hasn’t been a motor powerful enough to work against the highly tensioned CTS units in our roof blind systems. However, that’s all about to change.

We’re introducing our first ever battery operated rooflight system!

battery motor

This system does away with the cost of wiring and an electrician, and lets you install a rooflight blind in any window! The system is European made with a 5 year warranty, and comes with a battery pack and solar panel for trickle charging. The limits can be set via the remote control so no need to always access the motor.

The key features of this system are;

-No mains power needed (obviously!)

-Solar-powered trickle charge – reduces the need for charging

-Very easy set-up (just plug in the battery pack & solar panel)

-Soft start-stop

The benefits of offering a battery motor over a standard 230v motor into a finished room are that your customer can avoid the cost of the following;

-Carpenter (to chase out the ceiling for trunking to be installed)

-Electrician (to bring a 240v supply cable across the ceiling)

-Plasterer (to patch back up the chased out ceiling slot)

-Painter & Decorator (to finish the ceiling with filling, sanding & painting to blend back in again)

This battery motor can even be used on our biggest rooflight blind, the KuroLok Twin RL system – with a maximum square area of 18m²!
